1. Who we are and the scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Helios, including the Helios mobile application, the Helios website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). “Helios,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Jacob Tarnabine. This policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use the Services.
2. Information we collect
We collect information that you provide directly, such as an account identifier, profile name, email address, sign-in method, or support request. The Services may also generate information associated with your use of Helios, including account or feature status, virtual-reward or entitlement records, referral or streak activity, and subscription status where those features are available.
We and service providers may collect device and technical information, including device type, operating system, app version, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, language settings, diagnostic information, crash data, and identifiers used to support fraud prevention, advertising delivery, measurement, and frequency controls. The precise information processed depends on the features you use, your device settings, and the advertising choices available in your region.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the Services; provide requested features; maintain account, reward, and entitlement records; provide support; improve performance and reliability; detect misuse, fraud, and security incidents; communicate service-related updates; meet legal obligations; and, where permitted, deliver, limit, measure, and improve advertising.
4. Advertising, Google AdMob, and mediation
The Helios mobile application may use the Google Mobile Ads SDK, Google AdMob, and, if enabled, approved advertising mediation partners to display advertisements. Advertising technology may process device and advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, interaction information, and diagnostic data to serve ads, measure performance, prevent invalid activity, manage frequency, and support personalization where allowed by law and your choices.
Helios may offer rewarded advertising in connection with optional in-app features and, if configured, limited interstitial advertising at natural feature transitions. Advertising availability is not guaranteed. We do not represent virtual credits or rewards as cash, cryptocurrency, or a financial investment. Where a paid, ad-free option is offered, the specific experience will be described in the applicable in-app offer.
Google’s processing of information is also governed by its own privacy terms. You can review the Google Privacy Policy for additional information about Google’s data practices.
5. Consent, privacy choices, and advertising controls
Where applicable law requires consent or a privacy choice before ads are requested, we will present the required notice and collect or respect your decision before requesting advertising inventory. The app may provide a visible privacy-options entry point when required so you can revisit your advertising choices. You may also use applicable device-level privacy, tracking, and advertising controls.
Declining consent, choosing less personalized ads, or enabling a privacy restriction may affect the type, availability, or personalization of advertising. It should not prevent you from using the core Helios experience, except where an optional feature depends on an advertising interaction.
6. How we share information
We may share information with vendors and service providers that help operate Helios, such as hosting, infrastructure, analytics, communications, customer support, app-store, subscription, security, advertising, and mediation providers. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of Helios or others; investigate fraud or abuse; comply with law or a lawful request; or support a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not knowingly sell personal information for another party’s independent marketing purposes. Advertising partners may process information under their own notices and contractual arrangements with us, subject to applicable law and available privacy controls.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and protect the security and integrity of Helios. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No security measure, however, can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of certain personal information. You may also have rights to object to certain processing or to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing activities. To make a request, use the contact details in Section 14. We may ask for information necessary to verify your request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
9. Account and data deletion
If a version of Helios allows you to create an account, you may request deletion of that account and the personal data associated with it at our Account Deletion Request page or by emailing t5dsdevmail@gmail.com with the subject line “Helios Account Deletion Request.” We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify that the request is made by or for the account holder.
After a verified request, we will delete the account and associated personal data from active systems, except for information we must keep for fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. We will explain any applicable retention to you when we process your request. Deleting an account may end access to associated Helios features and virtual-reward records.
10. International data transfers
Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. When required, we will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers of personal information.
11. Children
Helios is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Helios inappropriately, contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.
12. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to or use third-party websites, stores, payment providers, or advertising services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to a third party.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, our providers, or applicable law change. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice through the app, website, or another reasonable method when required by law.
